When fixing MLA citation errors, I had to focus on my use of in-text citations. I prefer to introduce the author earlier in the sentence, so I had to go back and add page numbers in parentheses after each quote. I also had to go trough and remove second-person point of view out of my paper. I had used the words “you” and “your” quite a few times in my paper, so I revised each of those sections. I took a look at commas and word choice, as well. I tend to use too many commas in my writing. I also sometimes do not use specific word choice. For example, I may write, “Social media affects the growth of one’s identity in a negative way” instead of, “Social media impedes the growth of one’s identity”.
