After writing the first draft of the Big Data essay, I highlighted “They say” and underlined “I say” to clearly see how much I integrated sources with my own ideas. This gave me an idea as to where I need to add sources, my own analysis, or both.  I really like this method of self review because integration of sources is usually what I need the most feedback. Color-coding is the best way to see the amount of they say vs. I say, so it works really well for me.
