My first time peer reviewing in English 110 was with the entry prompt on higher education. All of my comments were sentence level. I suggested adding and removing words and punctuation. Throughout the semester, I have learned to comment on global revision, as well as more important local revision (MLA, transitions, etc). While I have been working on my ability to edit pees’ drafts globally, I have been learning how to do the same to my own papers. Global revision of my own papers has always been something I struggle with. We have done an ample amount of reviewing and editing, and I now feel comfortable with the recursive process of writing.
