I also read the Hunger Games series, but I stopped a few chapters before the end of the last book because it got spoiled for me and I did not like how it ended. However I did watch all of the movies which, in my opinion, started off good with the first one, but quickly went downhill with each new movie. What are your thoughts on the movies?
What things make you nervous about this class and what are your plans for using your medical biology degree? Also, what are some of the strategies you will use to prevent getting too overwhelmed with this class?
I loved the series but the ending also frustrated me. The movies don’t compare to the books in my opinion. They leave out a lot of really good plot, but that is expected with movies that are based on books.
I come from a very different background in learning than most people at UNE, which leaves me struggling as a writer. I have a very hard time coming up with things to put in papers and where to go next. My brain is very STEM oriented, and I tend to see the world in a mathematical and scientific way. The creativity side of me is lacking. I plan on going to SASC again this semester and possibly some office hours so that I can make sure I am doing everything I need to do to succeed in this class.
My goal is to get into Medical School on an Army health profession scholarship and become a trauma surgeon in the army. After that, I will most likely find a job at a good hospital as a trauma surgeon.
